3 Things an "Infopreneur" Should Do for You.

What Exactly Is An Infopreneur?

And what should she do for you? This article answers that question, along with addressing an issue that a lot of small business owners have. The answer to: What the heck do you guys do? That is a problem especially true of service providers who sell what are called "intangibles" -- those things that you cannot see, touch, or easily "wrap your head around" when you hear it.

Of course, barring the business owner's inability to express, and clearly define the value of, what his or her company does... We should be able to describe it for you, in plain English.

An Infopreneur is a team member, usually external, who
  1. Seeks and Finds information valuable to business owners
  2. Filters and Packages said information into useful "bites"
  3. Shows you one or more ways to use said information for growing your business
Simply put, the three key objectives an infopreneur must help you to achieve are:
  • Better serving your internal or external customers.
  • Increasing revenues.
  • Lowering costs. Period.
An infopreneur should help you to focus on the How surrounding the 5 W's of running your business. Who, what, when, where, and why are the platform -- the foundation. Concrete, effective, and efficient "how's" are where, for example, DMMI Associates adds value to you and your business.
Of course, being process oriented. DMMI Associates can also assist you with defining the who, what, where, when, or why, if necessary. Your needs drive our mission.
